Michigan has won the last seven straight and is 21-3 all-time against Nebraska. The service predicts an eight-point victory for the Wolverines. Nebraska ranks 189th in adjusted offense and 48th in adjusted defense, per KenPom. This year, he’s getting starter’s minutes at the ‘2’ while shooting 59.8% on 2-pointers and nearly 40% from beyond the arc. The guard was perfect from the floor against Michigan at Crisler last year, but he was called for a game-changing technical foul that sparked the Wolverines’ come-from-behind win. Keisei Tominaga scored 30 points in Sunday’s win against Penn State, and he’s a name Michigan fans should know well. He’s not an outside shooting threat, having attempted just a pair of 3-pointers this year, but is one of the better rebounders in the Big Ten. The top option for Nebraska is 6-foot-9 center Derrick Walker, who attempts a quarter of his team’s shots when he’s on the court and is making nearly 60% of his 2-pointers. Juwan Gary (shoulder), Emmanuel Bandoumel (knee) and Quaran McPherson (knee) all suffered season-ending injuries, and as a result Nebraska has limited depth and leans heavily on freshmen. The Huskers (11-13 overall, 4-9 Big Ten) are 12th in the conference standings and have been plagued by injuries all season. The Wolverines have won two in a row - at Northwestern and against Ohio State - and have an excellent opportunity to make it three against one of the worst teams in the Big Ten. The Michigan men’s basketball team continues its home stand against Nebraska on Wednesday evening at the Crisler Center (6:30 p.m., BTN).
